New years wishes from all at the Palais Amani!
Out with the old and in with the new
As the year comes to an end we all tend to list what has gone on in the year past and take a moment to think about what is to come for the year that is about to begin.
At Fez Cooking School, it is no different and despite the hive of activity here today at the Palais Amani, as the chefs set up our gargantuan buffet for the new year celebrations this evening at Eden restaurant, we are also taking a moment to think back to the year that has been and plan what is to change in the year ahead.
Learning new cooking skills
Today we welcome a wonderful collection of keen chefs who will spend the last day of 2018 learning how to make delicious tajines and Moroccan salads. These will no doubt be some of the new dishes that they will add to their repetoire when cooking for friends and family back home. And what a year it has been!
A popular culinary scene
We have seen over a 200% increase in the number of customers or should I say friends that have come to our Cooking School and have left a little wiser as to the secrets behind one of the most refined cuisines in the world. It is heart warming to share such quality time with people from the four corners of the globe.
New for the new year
And now looking forwards to the year ahead, in addition to the well known cooking experiences that we already offer, we have a three day residential culinary workshop that is rising in popularity and are working on a new set of experiences to broaden the Fez Cooking School culinary horizons.
Modern Moroccan is one of the experiences that will be showcased in 2019, along with a workshop for Vegetarians and “Forgotten Foods”: a workshop that looks at ancient recipes from days gone by. So watch this space and when you are thinking about your new years resolutions, make sure that a visit to the Fez Cooking School is a definite must do for 2019!
